Does this sound like a daily conversation between you and your child?
"Logan, empty the dishwasher," I told my son for the 99th time.
"OK!" He shouted back.
Two hours later...
"Logan, you need to empty the dishwasher."
"OK, OK, Mom. I'll do it soon."
And that evening...
"Logan, why haven't you emptied the dishwasher yet?"
"Geez, Mom, I'll do it. Quit nagging."
I mean, really, how many times can you tell your child to empty the dishwasher?
I was so burned out, and frustrated!
Three years ago I attended a Hearts at Home Conference and had the honor of listening to Nadia Swearingen-Friesen speak about her book, "Sticks."
It really is a simple concept. Think about each child individually, what do you need from them on a daily basis that would make them self-sufficient? Think about what that would look like in your home. What would it look like for your children to have a system in place that allows them to know what is expected of them everyday?
Sound too good to be true? I promise you, it’s not. I was a tired, burned out and grumpy. I work a full-time job and the thought of coming home to a messy house in the evening stressed me out even more. I have implemented a system in our home that works! Stick with me over the next several weeks and I promise you that you can implement this system too.

I have been in the education field for over 13 years. My degree is in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education. I went on to become credentialed as a Developmental Therapist and work for the Early Intervention Program in our area serving children birth-3. I also work as a Services Coordinator for that same program.
I am excited that you are here! I can’t wait to meet you.

I was exhausted and trying to get my 6 and 3-year-olds to clean up after themselves was an endless battle. I took Ehrica’s course, applied the chore system and saw immediate results. My kids are so excited to do their “responsibilities” in the morning that I caught my six-year-old dusting in her pajamas one morning! With the chore system, my kids know exactly what is expected of them and have the instant satisfaction of being able to mark each item completed. They love waking up in the morning to see if they earned a “gold stick” from the night before. Great program!

The only thing I used to hate more than attempting to get my kids to do their chores was the sound of my own voice, constantly reminding them to follow through. With Our Missional Family's Chore System, not only do my kids have clear direction, but I no longer need to follow-up. The system allows for daily expectations to be laid out in a clear manner, and puts accountability for completing each chore directly into the hands of the child to which is was assigned. This system is completely modifiable and can be customized for each child in your home. It is so simple to follow and has been a game changer in our house!
I have been wanting that to start a chore system for my kid for quite a while now. Months went by and still no chore system in sight. Meanwhile the house is a mess and I can't seem to keep up on any of the clutter. If I asked my kid for help I was usually met with anger and annoyance. When I came across the course "Creating a Chore System That Works" I knew I had to try it. The price was great and I love that I didn't have to go through the trail and error of figuring out a system myself. Ehrica has taken the chore system that works for her family and broken it down in simple to follow steps so you can easily recreate her system in your home. I am pleased to say that Creating a Chore System That Works has been a huge success in my home. My 7 year old loves the independence the system creates and I love not having to nag him to get things done. The chore system is adaptable to all ages so it will be easy to adjust as my son gets older. I could not be more happy with how well this system has worked out for us. I wish I had found it years ago.

As a mother of six, I love systems that make our household more manageable. Creating a Chore System that Works is an awesome course! Ehrica does an excellent job of explaining the system. It is stress-free and low-maintenance to implement and manage. My entire family is onboard and excited to begin. God bless you Ehrica, for all of the families you will help with this “must-try” course!
